I have been happily using Katrina’s soaps for several years. Today I tried her shampoo and conditioner and LOVE the results. Not only does my hair feel great, look great and smell great; travelling with these products is going to be so much easier than with the usual bottles. The added bonus of shopping at Apple and Radish is the welcoming smile and lovely conversation provided free of charge by Katrina. Always a pleasure to drop by.
I bought the Lavender and Ylang Ylang shampoo bar. I love the packaging and the scent is gorgeous. I love how it leaves my hair squeaky clean! I’ll definitely be buying more from Apple and Radish.
I have really sensitive skin with allergies to a lot of natural oils. However I recently bought the soap with Grapefruit in it and it is just beautiful on my hands with all this hand washing. Leaves them lovely and moisturised and soft.
Thank you Apple & Radish xxx

How lucky am I to have come across Katrina’s handcrafted goodies on instagram. Such beautiful and natural items she makes. I’ve purchased a Bug Repellent Lotion Bar to help with my allergies to mosquitoes. All natural, made with such love and care. My online purchase was easy and packaged like a 💝 gift with a lil treat inside for me. A lovely shopping experience from a lovely lady Katrina 💁🏻♀️thank you and will most certainly spread the word and purchase again!

Meet The Maker
Hello! I'm So Happy You're Here! Let me introduce myself...I'm Katrina MacAllan - soap maker, garden grower and nature lover. I make all of the soaps and body products that you see here in my soap kitchen here on Tamborine Mountain.
A Little Bit About Me....
I hold qualifications in Biomedical Science and Naturopathy.
I come from a family of creatives. My father is an engineer and inventor, my mother an amazing seamstress, quilter and cook. (My four children are all incredibly creative and artistic too so it must be something in the blood!)
I have always loved to grow herbs, food and flowers and make things from scratch. Ever since I was a child I have been writing, sewing, mixing and making.
I am passionate about all things handmade and homegrown because they soothe the soul and lift the spirits in this fast paced world. They connect us to each other and to the Earth. And they remind us to slow down and savour the simple things.
Simple pleasures, like delightful handmade soap or a deluxe natural lip balm, add sweetness to life and create special moments in your day that make life richer and more meaningful.
